Rameshwaram has good bus frequencies to all parts of the city. Both private buses and public buses are available.

Rameshwaram is one among the few cities in India which uses horse cart service till today. One can hire horse carts in front of railway station and temple. The charge depends upon the load.

Just like all cities, Rameshwaram also has Share autos and Private autos facilities. Private autos can be hired from anywhere.
Boat:
Being a coastal land Rameshwaram has boat service to small islands near the city. There is no fixed price, the fishermen going for fishing may take us for a ride if we insist.
