The falls get it’s name from the village Kutladampatti, in which they are located. This village and Kutladampatti Falls are distanced at 30 kilometers from the district headquarters, less than an hour by road.

The fresh water stream that descends down the rocks as the Kutladampatti Falls rejuvenates the mind and soul of the visitor. This falls is located just 30 kms from Madurai town. There are lots of bus connectivity to this falls from Madurai Periyar bus stand. Vadipatti village is located at the distance of 8kms from this falls. It is also advisable to hire a taxi from Madurai to reach this falls.
