By Air - There are no airports at Ooty. But the nearest airport is at Coimbatore which is at about 88 kms from Ooty. From Coimbatore you can take a taxi or a bus to Ooty.

By Rail - The nearest rail junction is at Mettupalayam which is at about 40 kms from Ooty. Many trains connecting various cities of India ply from here. From Mettupalayam you can go to Ooty by the Nilgiri Blue Mountain Toy Train or you can catch a bus or a taxi.

By Road - Ooty is one of the major attractions in South India. So, you can catch many luxury buses as well as State Transport Buses to Ooty from many major cities like Bangalore, Mysore, Chennai, Chennai, Calicut, etc.
