Day Wise Plan
After morning breakfast, we will take you to the sight-seeing of Fort St. George, which was built way back in 1640 during the British Raj. Thereafter, you will be taken to Shri Kapaleeswar temple and Parthasarthy temple and given time to admire their architectural beauty. Post lunch, enjoy a stroll alongside the Marina beach, the second largest beach in the world. Return back to hotel in the evening and enjoy your dinner.
Early morning 1.5 hours long drive will take you to your hotel in Kanchipuram. Freshen up, and start for the visit of revered Kamakshi Amman temple, which is dedicated to Goddess Shakti and the 8th century built Kailashanathar temple. Enjoy shopping of the famous Kanchipuram sarees, handloom products and other artifacts in the local bazaars of the city
After a sumptuous breakfast, you will be driven to Mahabalipuram, which is 65 km form Kanchipuram. Admire the architecture of Arjuna's Penance, which is a gigantic bas-relief designed artistically with the carvings of elephants, monkeys, deers and other animals. Pay visit to nearby Krishna Mandapa. Overstay at hotel in Mahabalipuram.
Visit the Varaha caves, which have rock cut mandapams (halls) that have statues of 03 incarnations of lord Vishnu in the form of Vaman, Varaha and Vishnu. After exploring the caves, have your lunch and thereafter enjoy sporting activities for the rest of the day like motor boat rides, angling, surfing, biking, etc. Overnight stay at hotel.
