Madras High Court

Placed in a carpet of autumn leaves and hovered by the shadow of overgrown trees, the Madras high court lingers to this day, retaining its historical flavor. The Madras High court monument includes the law college and a lighthouse. It is built with the architectural design of Indo-Saracenic marvel. Despite the name of Madras being changed to Chennai the monument being an institution did not change its name. The building was constructed for four years and finished completion in 1892. The striking red with the white colored borders add to its importance. It is of historic importance as it is one of the very few numbers of Indian buildings which were attacked by Germans.
