About Chennai Music/ Dance festival
Chennai is the paradise for art and music. In order to hail the importance of art and music, chennai celebrates a special festive called Chennai music and dance festival. This is a 5 week long Music season which has been described as one of the world's largest cultural events. This festival was started by a group of art lovers in the year 1920 and later got approved by the Madras Music academy.
